Democratic Youth Federation of Sri Lanka (DYF Sri Lanka) is an active youth network which spans island wide.
DYF Sri Lanka is a multi-cultural, multi lingual youth lead volunteer Organization in Sri Lanka. DYF was established on 15th May 2018 as the Youth wing of Alcohol and Drug information Centre (ADIC ) Sri Lanka.
DYF is led by young people between 15 to 29 with a grass root level network of leaders and volunteers who work towards Alcohol, Tobacco and other drug prevention through activism in various aligned fields such as the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Non-Communicable Disease (NCD) prevention, Sexual Reproductive Health (SRHR), Democracy, Human Rights, Peace Building and Gender Equality
Youth are the most crucial population group in a country as they act as creative and innovative change makers, future leaders in different fields. It is vital youth is being empowered in order to build a better future.
